BROKEN CABLE DETECTION
UL Listed, CSA Certified, CE compliant.
Conforms to IEC: 947-5-1, IEC: 60947-5-5, DEMKO Third Party certification.
Positive Break and Positive Transfer features make this switch particularly competent for E-stop applications
as well as ordinary circuit control.
Set-up position is easily attained without removal of the cover. Cable is stretched tightly until shaft end is
flush with indicator hub end.
Switch will trip and latch if the cable breaks, comes loose or is pulled.
Blue booted reset button is pushed to reset and latch contacts into their normal operating configuration.
Designed to reduce "nuisance tripping" from cable expansion and stretch associated with taut cable switches.
Offered only in manual reset configuration.
Mounting pattern coincides with other standard REES Cable Switches. Additional holes are provided to match
competetive devices.
Direction of pull is field convertible, or switches can be purchased as right or left hand pull. Right hand model
shown. Left hand pull is 04962-200.
Typically found on process applications such as conveyors, transfer machines or assembly lines within the
Automotive, Machine Tool, Foundry and Pharmaceutical industries.
