New product line B200 - Types B250 and B263

The new product line B200 of Sälzer is an advancement of the proven disconnect switches H263 and was
conceived by analogy of the product lines H200-A, H200-D and H200-E as 3-pole to 8-pole On-Off Switches
and as 3-pole and 4-pole changeover switches. With new robust and generous box terminals, unloseable
terminal screws, finger protected box ter-minals (IP20) for a maximum terminal capacity of 25 mm²
essential advantages arise to the H263 one maximum terminal capacity of 16 mm² owns. B263 is fully
replaceable to the H263. Nevertheless, remains of the H263 for the time being available.
Within the product line B200 two types are offered nowadays:
B250 = 50A operational current to AC-21A, 18.5 kW operational power to
AC-23A with 380-400 V
and
B263 = 63A operational current to AC-21A, 22 kW operational power to AC-23A
with 380-400 V.
Beside a compact design both types in the identical mounting size offer an additional safe-ty by forcible
opening and compulsive-controlled closing of the contacts.
All proven mounting form modules and additional accessories for front and base mounting of the mounting
size 200 are usable and are combinable with neutral contact module, aux-iliary contact modules and
N-and PE terminals.

New operator modules 4RD1 and 4RD4
with single hole mounting Ø 22.5 mm and override function in the ON position, for base mounting switch
with door clutch, door interlock and metal shaft extension
The new operator modules have been developed 4RD1 (black/yellow) for Main switches and 4RD4
(red/yellow) for Main/Emergency-Off switches of the product lines B200, H200 and H400 as a base
mounting switch with door clutch, door interlock and metal shaft ex-tension and fulfils all requirements of
the IEC and the UL508A.
4RD1 and 4RD4 (IP66 / IP67) own a single hole mounting Ø 22.5 mm and can be pre-mounted in the
switch cupboard door. Door clutch and door interlock are integrated. The metal shaft extensions are
variably adjustable in the length and to order separately. Accor-dingly of the product lines B200, H200 and
H400 the different mounting form modules which are described in the suitable catalogues and manuals are
available to the respective basic switch module.
The override function allows authorizing persons at servicing work to outwit the door inter-lock in the ON
position by means of special tools.
At most the switch cupboard can be bolted by the operator module with 3 padlocks in the OFF position of
the switch.
